Welcome Fair “Campus Ávila”

During the course of October 1, 2015, the “Campus Ávila” welcome fair was held at the Polytechnic School of Ávila. Inaugurated by the Rector Daniel Hernández Ruipérez and the Vice-Rector for Promotion and Coordination José Ángel Domínguez, it seeks to disseminate among the student community the diversity of academic training offers offered by the Campus. From undergraduate university studies (Degree in Geomatics and Topography, Degree in Civil Engineering and Degree in Mining and Energy Technology Engineering), through the Double Degree in Civil, Mining and Energy (http://politecnicavila.usal.es/estudios/grados/grados.php ), to more advanced studies that include the University Master’s Degree in Cartographic Geotechnologies of Engineering and Architecture (http://campus.usal.es/~geotecnologias/ ) and its corresponding Doctorate system (http://tidop.usal.es/phd-program-geotechnologies-2 ).

This welcome fair brought together a variety of students from the campuses in Ávila, as well as a variety of competitions, including the University Competition for the creation of micro-stories.

It was during this fair that the DJI drone from the TIDOP research group carried out a flight in which the enormous success of the fair and the number of people gathered can be appreciated.
