PhD in Industrial Engineering with distinction and extraordinary doctorate award, also a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Law. He is currently Professor at the University of Salamanca, where he carries out his teaching and research work in the field of engineering, manufacturing, quality and Industry 4.0. He has managed and/or participated in different research projects, several of them being international projects. As for his scientific production, he has authored more than a large number of scientific articles published in high impact journals and international conferences, as well as several book chapters in international publishers. He is also the author of several patents and software registrations and has collaborated with different companies in the context of new technologies in Industry 4.0.

  • Active thermography and excitation energy sources
  • Algorithms for thermal image processing
