Jorge López Rebollo
PhD candidate.
Jorge López Rebollo is currently a Professor and Researcher at the Higher Polytechnic School of Ávila, University of Salamanca. He holds a PhD from the University of Salamanca (USAL) in the program of Geotechnologies applied to Construction, Energy, and Industry, earning an ‘Outstanding Cum Laude’ distinction and an International Doctorate Mention for his thesis; he completed his doctoral studies supported by two competitive fellowships (from Junta de Castilla y León and the FPU program). He also holds a Master’s degree in Cartographic Geotechnologies in Engineering and Architecture, for which he was awarded an “VIII Centenario” Excellence Program Scholarship and a Santander Progreso Scholarship. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in hydrology), for which he received the Outstanding Graduate Award. As a researcher, he has co-authored numerous scientific articles in high-impact (JCR) journals and has contributed to national and international conferences. He has participated in multiple research projects, has served as Principal Investigator on several regional projects, and has completed two international research stays at the University of Cuenca (Ecuador) and the University of the Republic (Uruguay).

  • Analysis of materials and industrial solutions through digital image correlation.
  • Modeling and virtualization of water resources for intelligent management.
