These proyects will be developed by four students of the doctorate program in Geotechnologies Applied to Construction, Energy and Industry at the Higher Polytechnic School of \u00c1vila. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The University of Salamanca, through the Social Affairs Service, has announced the results of the grants &#8220;Sustainable Campus Objective&#8221; for the implementation of projects aimed at innovation and sustainability in the different Campus of the University. It is a call in which the different USAL students enrolled in this academic year can participate through different proposals focused on three themes:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enviromental justice: responsible consumption, responsible use of natural resources, promotion of biodiversity and protection of ecosystems&#8230;<\/li><li>Economic development: energy saving, promotion of the Economy of the Common Good, eficient use of economic and material resources, responsible production&#8230;<\/li><li>Social justice: improvement of health, well-being, inclusion, equality, non-discriminatin&#8230;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the resolution of the call, two of thirty projects will be developed by four students of the doctorate program in Geotechnologies Applied to Construction, Energy and Industry at the Higher Polytechnic School of \u00c1vila: Enrique Gonz\u00e1lez, Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez, Paula de Andr\u00e9s Anaya and Jos\u00e9 Antonio Mart\u00edn with the support of Susana Lag\u00fcela as academic tutor.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tidop.usal.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/SASFotoGrupo.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"44188\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/tidop.usal.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/SASFotoGrupo.jpg\" data-link=\"http:\/\/tidop.usal.es\/?attachment_id=44188\" class=\"wp-image-44188\"\/><figcaption class=\"blocks-gallery-item__caption\"><em>Students in charge of the projects with ther academic tutor on the rooftop of the Higher Polytechnic School of \u00c1vila on which the solar panels will be installed<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Bioroof: a sustainable university contribution to urban biodiversity&#8221; is one of the projects that aims to improve the state of the green rooftop of the Polytechnic School by planting plant and installing insect hotels. Action that will not only increase biodiversity in urban enviroments, but will also improve energy saving in the building. The second of the projects on which the doctoral students will work will be &#8220;Eficampus: Solar Self-consumption and Energy Efficiency&#8221;. The aim is to carry out a photovoltaic solar installation for different telemetry and control devides installed on one of the roofstop of the School for research purposes.
