Ávila hosts the XII Jornadas Abulenses de Energía, where the TIDOP group stands out in the search for a sustainable future through innovation in renewable energies.
On 23 and 24 October, the XII Jornadas Abulenses de Energía was held in the Auditorio de San Francisco de Ávila, an event that brought together experts to discuss key issues such as decarbonisation, energy communities in rural areas, the transition to clean energy and investment opportunities in renewable energies. Under the slogan ‘Energy is in the community’, this conference offered a space for reflection and proposals for a more sustainable energy future.

The TIDOP group had an outstanding participation on the 24th, where the following papers were presented:
At 10:30 in the block ‘Hydrogen as an energy vector’.
- Implementation of renewable hydrogen solutions in airport mobility

- Development of webGIS and AI tools for decision making in the energy sector.

During this session, opportunities for innovation and technological development in the field of renewable energies and energy efficiency were explored, topics on which the TIDOP group has a strong focus.
The event featured presentations by renowned experts, such as the inaugural lecture by the dean of the Madrid College of Architects, Sigfrido Herráez, and concluded with the presentation of the Renewable Prize to the geologist Ana María Alonso Zarza, president of the Geological Society of Spain.
This conference coincided with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Provincial Energy Agency, reaffirming the commitment of the province of Ávila to a sustainable energy model. In addition, an exhibition on good energy practices was inaugurated in the Torreón de los Guzmanes, available until 31 October.
