The researcher from TIDOP Group, Paula de Andrés Anaya has been awarded in this meeting with the second prize in Applied Technology category. The Acting Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Ms. Reyes Maroto Illera, acted as the chair of the meeting. The researcher from TIDOP Group, Paula de Andrés Anaya, graduate on Geomatic and Topographic Engineering, has been awarded in this meeting with the second prize in Applied Technology category. The award was given for this final year dissertation “Land Surface Temperature from satellite imagery: computation tool”, supervised by PhD. Susana Lagüela López and MSc. María Sánchez Aparicio. The Applied Technology category includes all technological applications that enlighten the data flow along the value chain.
The VII AECOC Academic Awards have recognised the best bachelor’s and master’s degree final projects by university students from all over Spain, with more than one hundred candidatures in the four categories, with €20,000 in prizes for university students and teachers.
