The researcher from TIDOP Group, Paula de Andrés Anaya has been awarded in this meeting with the second prize in Applied Technology category. The Acting Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Ms. Reyes Maroto Illera, acted as the chair of the meeting.

The researcher from TIDOP Group, Paula de Andrés Anaya, graduate on Geomatic and Topographic Engineering, has been awarded in this meeting with the second prize in Applied Technology category. The award was given for this final year dissertation “Land Surface Temperature from satellite imagery: computation tool”, supervised by PhD. Susana Lagüela López and MSc. María Sánchez Aparicio. The Applied Technology category includes all technological applications that enlighten the data flow along the value chain.

The VII Academic Awards AECOC have given recognition to the best final year dissertations in Spain, receiving more than one hundred candidacies among the four categories. The Awards distribute 20.000€ in awards for university students and professors.
