Marta Pagán Martínez
Researcher

IResearcher in the TIDOP Group at the University of
Salamanca, with extensive international experience in teaching and research. PhD
in Current Techniques and Methods in Information and Documentation from the
University of Murcia (2013), Degree in Humanities from the UCLM (2006). Master´s
Degree in Digital Humanities (specialising in Digital Content Management and
Digital Cultural Heritage Management) and Specialist in Remote Sensing and
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the University of Castilla-La Mancha
since 2008. He has completed 3 postdoctoral stays. He has a solid academic,
teaching and research career, highlighting his participation in undergraduate and
postgraduate programmes in several Spanish and Brazilian universities, as well as
his teaching work in multiple disciplines related to information management,
accessibility and data analysis. He has published more than 25 scientific articles and
participated in 8 interdisciplinary research groups. His research covers data analysis
and processing techniques, digital content management, web accessibility and
quality, e-government and Big Data. Currently, he focuses on research in Big Data,
AI, ML, PLN, and data and text mining, promoting innovation in Humanities and
Social Sciences, including with a focus on Information and Data Science. Research lines
