Julián Guillermo García Pedreros
PhD candidate
Geographer and Master in Geomatics from the National University of Colombia, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Geotechnologies at the University of Salamanca. His research interests focus on spatial modeling, geostatistical analysis, GIS, and advanced remote sensing applied to energy, meteorology, and atmospheric phenomena related to climate variability. He has participated in various research projects at the Alexander Von Humboldt Institute for Biological Resources Research, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, and the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia. He has been invited as a speaker at events such as the Third Latin American Congress on Climate Change Research in Mexico City, collaborated with various mass media outlets in Colombia, and has published in high-impact international journals on topics related to radiative energy budgets, spatial modeling, and regional warming. He is currently working on the application and integration of artificial intelligence algorithms in these areas
