Dr. Miguel Ángel Maté González ends his stay in Italy.
Last September, postdoctoral researcher Miguel Ángel Maté González, was invited by Professor Salvatore Barba, to conduct a research stay at the University of Salerno.
During this stay, the researcher gave several lectures on the development of geomatic methods for the preventive conservation of historic buildings, research framed within the HeritageCARE and Heritage 5.0 projects.
In a complementary way, the researcher has been able to know first-handed the research work on new 3D digitalization systems in heritage that they develop at the University. Specifically, we talk about back-pack mapping systems for the recreation of complex scenarios through the full-SLAM algorithm.
