Description: HOBEPA (HOney-BEe Population Assessment) is a tool for non-intrusive and automatic assessment of the population status of beekeeping facilities. Taking as input high-resolution 3D models with thermographic information of the hives, the tool is able to calculate the temperature on the inner surface using conduction heat transfer techniques. This evaluation will yield quantitative information in the form of discrete values of temperature distributed homogeneously over the entire surface of the hive, allowing the evaluation of the ability of the colony to maintain its internal temperature above the temperature that would lead to its collapse.
